Nachdem es mangels Event-Agentur und Sponsoring bis vor wenigen Tagen in den Sternen stand, ob die 2. Auflage des Saar-Splash und dieDeutsche Kanu-Freestyle-Big-Air-Meisterschaften auch in diesem Jahr und zum10jährigen Jubiläum des Saar-Spektakels vom 1.-3. August stattfinden kann, ist es jetzt amtlich und von der Landeshauptstadt Saarbrücken gewünscht, dass der – neben den Freestyle-Weltcups vielleicht fetteste Event des Jahres doch über eine dervielen Showbühnen Saarbrückens geht – go big or go home – in diesem Sinne (Vor)Anmeldungen (Name, Vorname, Geb.datum, Wohnort, Bootsklasse, Geschlecht) ab sofort unter saarsplash2008@yahoo.de!
Die Plätze sind aufgrund eines strengen Zeitplans limitiert. Der genaue Anmeldebetrag stehtnoch nicht fest, wird sich aber wahrscheinlich bei 5-10 Euro liegen! Als Siegesprämie winken ein Preisgeld und/oder ein I-Pot-Touch. Jeder Athlet muss einen Haftungsausschluss unterschreiben, bei Junioren und –innen vomErziehungsberechtigten. Es gibt nur die Klassen Damen und Herren, jeweils einschließlich Junior(inn)en, egal ob im Kajak oder Canadier. Daneben auch ein Snowboard/Freeski-Contest.
