Hallo,
I am new to Berlin from New York and unfortunately I do not yet speak German, but I would really like to meet some people to Kayak with. It has been difficult to find websites with information on paddling in Germany - maybe you have some suggestions.
I look forward to hearing back from any boaters.

mmm, there is lots of water around Berlin but almost all of it is flat.
I know that there is great touring possibilities in the Spreewald or the Seenplatte - don't if you fancy that. Why don't you ckeck out the Kayak dealers in Berlin. They can often help you to find people to join... or look at one of the kayak clubs!?

welcome to Germany :-).... well, I live in the UK at the moment but I spend a lot of time in Germany and the Alps.
Unfortunately Berlin isn't the best location for a whitewater kayaker :-(.... however it is not too far to travel to good places.
I can recommend you some destinations for the next months if you ahve time off to go kayaking for a coupke of days. I'll be in France for almost the whole month of July.... see you there?

also ich bin recht aktiv und kenne einige leute wenn du wildwasser fahren möchtest würde ich in diesem forum mal nach Jutta Kaiser suchen!!
ich habe sie auf der Wildwasserwoche kennen gelernt und sie ist richtig gut!!
