Roland Gasser verunglückt, 4. Juli 2004
Am Sonntag, den 4. Juli 2004, ist Roland Gasser (Role) aus Thun bei einem Bergunfall am Balmhorn/Schweiz ums Leben gekommen. Die meisten kennen ihn als Organisator des Thun Rodeos, den Mammut Masters und der gelungenen EM 2002 in Thun. Wenn er unermüdlich mit dem Schleusenwärter telefonierte, um die Welle zum Laufen zu bekommen, dabei immer noch alle Fragen mit einer unendlichen Ruhe beantwortete und so dem hektischen Treiben der Veranstaltung seine ganz persönliche ruhige, freundliche und witzige Art einverleibte.
Viel Trost und Stärke senden wir an die Eltern Alice und Ferdinand Gasser und seine beiden Kinder Rahel und David.

Die Trauerfeier findet am Donnerstag, den 15. Juli 2004, um 14.00 Uhr in Münsingen in der Reformierten Kirche statt (Autobahn Bern-Thun, Ausfahrt Rubingen).
